Sam Percival has 22 years' experience in the industry, has been an RICS chartered building surveyor since 2007 and attained an RICS accreditation in Heritage Building Conservation in 2015.
For historic and more complex properties we recommend the most comprehensive of the three types of survey described within the RICS Professional Guidance, UK Surveys of Residential Property, otherwise referred to as the 'Survey Level 3: RICS Building Survey'.
This type of survey allows for the visual inspection and assessment of the structural elements, including, roof timbers, walls, foundations, floor structures, in addition to, chimneys, roof weatherings, fixtures and fittings, such as windows, doors, stairs, and other joinery and services, including electrical circuits, plumbing and drainage. Our reports will identify and pass comment on defects, offer recommendations on how to address defects and at the end of the report produce an easy to reference list of all recommendations with colour coded priority rating.
We also offer full architectural design services from conception through to completion.
